Tutoring

Each student has a tutor. Tutors meet with students regularly to ensure they are making good progress and are making the most of opportunities available to them.

The tutor is at the heart of the pastoral and academic lives of the students. They have the daily responsibility for monitoring the wellbeing of their pupils, their academic progress and their engagement in extracurricular activities to ensure they have a balanced school life while working to maximise their development.

Each tutor looks after ten students and meets with them regularly to review classwork and homework. The Tutor acts as the first point of contact for parents and in school is likely to be the person who knows the student in his or her class best. Update reports are sent to parents regularly.
